Your Key Responsibilities

• Designing and operationalizing data solutions for large-scale data architectures across business and functions
• Designing and developing conceptual and semantic data models for integrating, exploring and retrieving data from heterogeneous data sources and IT systems 
• Taking over the data engineering tasks for the design and implementation of data pipelines as part of overarching, use case-specific solution architectures 
• Administration and ongoing automation of numerous operational processes based on DevOps technologies such as GitHub, Jenkins and relevant cloud services 
• Close collaboration on projects with data architects, DevOps engineers and analysts 
• Ensuring quality deliverables by conducting regular peer reviews and knowledge sharing sessions within the product team as well as across teams 
• Working in interdisciplinary, cross-functional teams according to agile methodology

Your Qualifications

• University degree in (Applied) Computer Science/Software Engineering, or akin qualification 
• Experience with integration of data from multiple data sources and IT systems, e. g. ERP/SAP, DWH/SAP-BW, Web Services, CRM/Salesforce, MES, etc. beneficial 
• Knowledge in working with Cloud environments and services, preferably with Azure 
• Fluent in English spoken and written, German is also beneficial 
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to interact with colleagues across the organization influenced by different working cultures (primarily German) 
• Experienced in DevOps (CI/CD, cloud-based), and in agile environments combined with profound agile mindset and corresponding experience in daily work 
• Ability to learn new technologies and skills (T-shape philosophy)
