Senior Software Engineer (Node.js)

ABOUT THE PROJECT

We are developing a SaaS platform for the logistics and trade sector, already serving several thousand active users. Our mission is to streamline workflows and boost efficiency for logistics professionals.

THE ROLE

• Play a core role in our product team, collaborating closely with the product owner and front-end developer.

• Lead the rebuild of our SaaS app backend from the ground up and manage data migration.

• Design, develop, and deliver new features and improvements.

• Build robust integrations with third party services.

• Set high engineering standards and bring best practices to the team.

• Influence technical direction and have a significant impact on our product and user experience.

REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of backend software engineering experience.

• 4+ years of hands-on experience with Node.js and TypeScript.

• Experience in building RESTful APIs and microservices.

• Experience with SQL (Postgres), Prisma / Drizzle, message queues and Redis.

• Experience with Jest (or other testing frameworks), AWS or Azure, CI/CD.

• Excellent documentation and collaboration skills.

• Strong sense of ownership and self-direction; able to start projects from scratch and work autonomously.

• "Hacker mentality": creative problem-solving, nothing is impossible.

• Ability to deliver rapidly without sacrificing code quality.

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience with React or Next.js.

• Experience with monitoring/logging tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Sentry, etc.)

• Familiarity with infrastructure as code (Terraform, AWS CDK, etc.)

WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?

• Salary: €4000–€5500 net/month (B2B, depending on skills and experience)

• Remote work with occasional meetings in Warsaw, Poland (office available if preferred)
