The Role:
The Commercial team is directly responsible for entitlements and billing systems along with self-serve user experience. The ideal candidate will be able to use their deep engineering expertise to make changes on the backend and frontend to drive additional sign ups, activated users, and revenue along with scaling UI and backend microservices architecture.
Being a full stack developer at the Commercial team in the Sauce Labs Organization means you’ll take care of our new and existing APIs, build interfaces for them and collaborate with others to build new services.
You know how to design and develop complex services providing API at scale. You can build and maintain interfaces that consume mentioned APIs. You take the ownership and responsibility for the things you create and help others maintain them.
Key Responsibilities:
- Extend and scale the existing backend and front-end applications written in Python, React, and Redux
- Strive for constant improvement and contribute to the power of our agile development culture
- Collaborate with other teams on building our platform
Job Requirements:
- Proficiency in modern JavaScript (ECMAScript 2015+), HTML and CSS
- Experience with React and Redux
- Experience Experience with (preferably) Python or other backend programming languages
- Understanding of asynchronous programming paradigms.
- Shell scripting knowledge.
- Hands on experience with container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes and Helm.
- Familiarity with service oriented architecture and microservices.
- Experience designing REST APIs.
- Experience with SQL.
Nice to Have:
- Experience contributing to open source projects.
- Fundamentals of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JS).
- Experience with Go.
- Gitlab Pipelines.
- Experience with React.
- Monitoring tools (Prometheus / Grafana)
