We are currently looking for a skilled and passionate Mid / Senior QA Automation Engineer (f/m/d) to become part of our Solution Team at SAP Fioneer ESG Solutions.

Your responsibilities

1. Play a key role in the end-to-end quality assurance and testing of deliverables
2. Collaborate with developers and product owners to understand specifications and create test documentation
3. Design and implement high-quality automated tests according to technology best practices
4. Perform manual quality checks to supplement automated tests
5. Define, prepare, and manage test data sets for manual and automated tests
6. Identify, reproduce, report, and track software defects
7. Work in an agile environment as part of a cross-functional team

What we expect

1. 3+ years of experience in the field of Test Automation
2. Knowledge of QA theory, methodologies, and tools
3. Knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript at a level that allows you to write customizable and reusable automated test cases
4. Experience with E2E testing (Playwright or any other modern JavaScript testing framework)
5. Experience with REST API testing
6. Ability to read and interpret logs
7. Experience with SQL queries and database basics
8. Comprehensive level of proficiency in the English language, particularly in a professional context
9. Have a keen eye for detail and strive for excellence
10. Strong desire to constantly learn new skills and develop your abilities
11. “Can do attitude” and taking ownership

Nice to have

1. Experience with Security/Performance testing
2. Familiarity with CI/CD tools
