DevOps Engineer in Network Cloud Team

About our Team

As a member of our team, you’ll have the opportunity to actively contribute to the development of the Network Operation Suite (NOS) project. NOS is a powerful tool designed to build fully automated systems for vRAN software installation and operation in large-scale, multi-cloud environments. By joining our team, you’ll gain hands-on experience in cloud development, from working with baremetal servers to managing Kubernetes clusters and deploying applications.

Our team is not only focused on developing innovative solutions but also plays a key role in defining the design and architecture of new features for a product that’s already in production. This provides a unique chance to work on real-world challenges and make meaningful contributions to cutting-edge technology.

Role and Responsibilities

• Participation in the full development cycle: from requirements, specification up to architecture, implementation of features and system tests

• Work on automation and CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes.

• Create code health tools used by developers to enhance the quality of the code base.

• Optimize the process of building the product components for faster artifacts delivery.

• Develop Platform Engineering toolchains and services to increase the efficiency of development teams.

• Automate the process of product testing on multiple development cycle stages for efficient error mitigation.

Technologies in use

Skills and Qualifications

• Strong experience with Python programming.

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or GitLab.

• Knowledge of Docker and experience with building and optimizing Docker images.

• Deep knowledge of Kubernetes and hands-on experience with Helm for managing containerized applications.

• Solid understanding of software development best practices, including Git-based version control systems, unit testing, and Agile methodologies.

• Familiarity with Linux systems and bash scripting.

• Advanced technical proficiency in English.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of automation tools like Ansible for streamlined operations.

• Familiarity with logging and monitoring systems such as Prometheus, Grafana, Thanos.

• Experience contributing to system architecture and design processes.

• Familiarity with OpenStack.
