Senior Lead Developer with WordPress

About our Team

We are looking for experienced WordPress lead developers who will join project as a technical leader to develop modern multipurpose website for developers. Project members will be responsible for whole software life cycle development including research, design, implementation, testing, deployment, feedback collection and adaptation. We are working in open-minded environment oriented towards cooperation, support and quality.

Role and Responsibilities

• Leadership of building website for developers
• Development of WordPress - driven websites
• Work on project requirements in cooperation with HQ
• Actively contribute to whole development process
• Suggest solutions based on expertise and professional approach
• Assure software/solution quality according to project requirements
• Propose solutions for continuously developed products and faced problems
• Reliable Code Review
• Focus on product goals

Technologies in use

• Full stack of WordPress ecosystem
• PHP, JS, TS
• AWS
• HTML, CSS
• Git, GitHub

Skills and Qualifications

• Very Good programming skills in technologies listed in “Technologies in use” section (min 5 years). WordPress knowledge on expert level is a must.
• Thorough understanding of front-end development practices, including browser compatibility issues and appropriate coding patterns
• Leadership skills
• Experience with WordPress themes and templates customization
• Experience building or modifying WordPress plugins
• Experience working with MySQL database
• Comprehensive knowledge of the WordPress Admin Console
• Experience with cross-browser and device-size compatibility testing
• Strong Knowledge and implementation expertise on SEO best practices
• Ensure the website is mobile responsive and cross-browser compatible
• Very good command of English, both written and verbal (B2 or higher)
• Graduate computer science, data science or similar studies
