About our Team
Samsung Ads is an advanced advertising ecosystem, spanning hundreds of millions of smart devices across TV, mobile, desktop, and beyond. The project we are recruiting for is focused on enabling brands to connect with Samsung TV audiences building the world’s smartest advertising platform. We use machine learning algorithms for advertising campaigns to enhance targeting, personalization, and optimization. The goal is to deliver the right message to the right audience at the right time, resulting in higher engagement rates and conversion rates.
You will play a crucial role in developing and leading talented engineers in our Warsaw office, being a part of global R&D chain headquartered in USA, and delivering projects contributing to rapidly growing, multi-billion dollar business.

Role and Responsibilities
· Lead an engineering team developing new ML/AI and performance advertising solutions, while concurrently launching enhancements/improvements to existing features
· Partner with cross-functional with the local, US and global product & engineering to drive development of products that are recognized as best in the industry.
· Supervise project delivery, plan project work quarterly, ensure on time delivery, communicate the risks, blockers and eventually results.
· Support the vision, strategy and development roadmaps for the overall ML products within Ads Solutions area
· Effectively apply state of the art software engineering and ML methods and optimize development processes.
· Stay on top of trends in the advertising industry
· Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the ML Ads team and across the broader global organization, leveraging best practices and lessons learned from across the company.

Skills and Qualifications
· Degree in Computer Science or related field (Data Science, Big Data, Mathematics, Physics, etc.).
· 5 or more years hands on experience in ML projects, at least 2 years of experience in leading projects or teams
· Programming skills in Python and data-science libraries (pandas, scikit-learn).
· Expert knowledge of data analysis, statistics, data mining, machine learning or Big Data processing area.
· Experience with mainstream ML libraries (TensorFlow/PyTorch, Scikit-Learn, PySpark etc.).
· Familiarity with data structures, CI/CD pipelines, software engineering principles and robust code testing.
· Ability to summarize and present the finding results to business/product stakeholders.
· Spoken and written proficiency in English
Nice to have
· Comfortable dealing with data. Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases, ideally Snowflake.
· Understanding of and experience building consumer-facing AdTech products
· Experience applying ML/AI in product development
· Proven track record of end to end technical product delivery.
· Experience in Agile product development.
