Role and Responsibilities

●     Design, develop, and maintain the backend infrastructure for the Test Suite application, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.

●      Proactively troubleshoot and resolve reported issues through root cause analysis, code debugging, and system enhancements to maintain efficiency and stability.

●     Collaborate with QA engineers and cross-functional teams to design technical solutions that align with user-centric requirements, fostering synergy between functionality and a seamless, intuitive user experience.

●     Programming & Frameworks: Java (Spring Framework), Python

●     Database System: PostgreSQL (design, deployment, query optimization)

●     Cloud Infrastructure (AWS):

○      Compute & Storage: EC2, S3, RDS

○      Security & Secrets: KMS, Secrets Manager

○      Messaging: SQS

●      Development Environment: Local orchestration via Docker and Docker Compose

●     Logging & Monitoring: Real-time analytics with Datadog and Sumo Logic

●     CI/CD Pipelines: GitHub Actions, Spinnaker

○      Version Control: GitHub

○      Project Tracking: Jira (Agile/Scrum)

Skills and Qualifications

●      3+ years of hands-on Java development with Spring Framework proficiency, paired with a growth mindset for adopting emerging technologies.

●     Experience designing RESTful APIs to power React-based frontends, ensuring seamless data flow and performance.

●     Good knowledge of relational databases including design, query optimization, and writing procedures.

●      Proven ability to work autonomously in a small, high performance engineering team with a balance of ownership and collaborative problem solving.

●      Commitment to writing clean, maintainable, and test-driven code with a focus on readability and scalability.

●      Communicative English for articulating technical concepts and collaborating effectively in a global team environment.

Nice to have

●      Knowledge of design patterns to build scalable and modular systems

●      Linux shell scripting for system-level tasks

●      IoT Domain Experience

●      Experience with developing and optimizing XSLT transformations for complex XML data
