We are seeking a visionary and experienced Leader to join our AI Center. In this key role, you will lead a team of talented Scientists and Engineers, driving groundbreaking AI solutions. We are looking for a leader who combines a deep passion for cutting-edge research with the ability to manage complex projects and inspire innovation within the team.
Role and Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of AI Researchers and AI Engineers, plan research projects, and define the strategic direction of the team.
- Develop innovative AI algorithms and solutions in areas of:
- Knowledge and Reasoning
- Safety and Alignment
- Context and Coherence
- Collaborate closely with company leadership to align research activities with organizational goals and business strategy.
- Write and oversee the publication process and represent the AI Center at top scientific conferences.
- Build and maintain relationships with academic and research partners, while staying up-to-date with AI advancements and trends.
- Mentor researchers or contribute to the intellectual growth of the research team.
- Actively monitor and contribute to the latest developments and trends in AI research, integrating state-of-the-art advancements into research practices.
Skills and Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in AI research, including a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role.
- A strong track record of participation in leading research projects.
- Excellent scientific writing skills, with a track record of publications in reputable venues.
- Deep expertise in AI algorithms and machine learning technologies, with hands-on experience using tools such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.
- Strong programming skills (Python, R, Java, C++) and experience working with large datasets.
- Proven leadership abilities, with excellent organizational skills and the capacity to motivate a team.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to a wide audience.
Nice to have
- Experience with grant and patent writing.
- Experience in organizing workshops, seminars, or conference tracks.
