Front-end Developer for SmartThings Pro (IoT)

Samsung R&D Institute Poland is looking for Frontend Developer that will join the team working on SmartThings Pro project – building management IoT solution. If you would like to work on innovative solutions from ideation, through proof of concept, to the commercialization phase, come and join us.

Our solutions provide convenient and highly advance IoT technology for controlling human comfort and energy consumption efficiency of commercial and residential buildings. We’re looking for a Frontend developer, passionate not only about software development but also about innovative solutions, which can change our everyday life. Role and Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining IoT/SmartThings solutions, ensuring high performance, reliability, and a world class user experience
• Implementing new functionalities and unit, automatic tests
• Analyzing errors and solving problems
• Preparing proofs of concept

Technologies in use

• JavaScript, TypeScript, Vue.js
• RxJava, Coroutines, Spring Boot, Java 11, Docker, Azure, PostgreSQL
• GitHub

Skills and Qualifications

• Proven at least 2 years’ experience as a front-end developer and a willingness to learn new technologies
• Experience with building applications (Vue.js+TypeScript) with RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs
• Expertise in JavaScript, HTML, CSS and front-end libraries and frameworks
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to write clean and high quality code
• Knowledge and experience in using RESTful based services
• Creative approach to solving problems and focus on quality
• Good in English communication for working

Nice to have

• Previous experience in commercial projects
• Familiarity with one of the following programming languages: Java, Python and C++
• Familiarity with JMESPath
•  Familiarity with MVVM
• Familiarity with JWT
• Familiarity with Jest
