Back-End Developer with Go for Samsung Ads Project

About our Team

We seek a highly skilled and motivated Golang Developer to join our growing Samsung Ads team. As Golang Developer, you will contribute to development and buildout of components of Samsung’s DSP platform.

You will be closely working with local team in Warsaw, having also many opportunities of collaboration with Samsung’s remote teams across the globe (US, Korea, India, UK) to help implement and deploy services.

Expertise you bring to the team, will play a crucial role in building modern, well performing, services which we will use to deliver targeted ads to our users. On daily basis, you will be collaborating with other professionals around design, implementation, and review of the source code, followed by delivery of proper documentation and quality.

Role and Responsibilities

• Design and implement backend applications
• Participate in R&D projects in the area of Cloud Services
• Establish and follow best coding practices
• Ensure software quality: create and maintain unit, integration and functional tests, participate in code review
• Report tasks progress

• GoLang, Java, Spring, Python, Docker, Kubernetes
• AWS

Skills and Qualifications

• At least 3 years of commercial experience in developing Golang
• Knowledge of protocols and data exchange formats: HTTP/1.1/2.0, RESTful API, gRPC
• Knowledge of database (SQL/NoSQL) technologies (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Redis, MySQL)
• Experience in work with TDD/BDD methodologies
• Knowledge of Design Patterns
• Proficiency in English, enough to communicate and understand technical documentation
• University degree in Computer Sciences, Telecommunication and/ or similar

Nice to have

• Commercial experience in developing Ruby/Rails
• Commercial experience in developing Erlang/Elixir
• Knowledge of web software libraries like React/TypeScript
• Experience in usage and administration of Amazon Web Services
• Experience in development of micro services/server less solutions
• Knowledge of container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of version control system: Git
• Knowledge of security solutions for web applications/services (OAuth2/JWT)
