The Cloud Operations Engineer is responsible for:

Cloud Onboarding/Offboarding – Coordinate on-prem connectivity with customers, support customer infrastructure needs in latest cloud technologies, and oversee automated deployments (installs/upgrades)
Cloud Environment Monitoring
Ensure proper disaster recovery features are in place
Monitor service degradations and proactively ensure proper performance of environments
Alert Escalation
Staying up to date with new cloud technologies, industry trends and best practices.
Providing mentorship and guidance to colleagues and new engineers.
Provide continuous improvements to automations and build pipelines. Collaborate with architects and quality assurance engineers on automation and infrastructure related topics
Create Process documentation and white papers around cloud and infrastructure processes.
Being able to work independently and take ownership.

Auditing and Logging options
Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service environment.
Familiarity with container orchestration services, especially Kubernetes
Deep understanding of Microsoft .Net Web Applications
Knowledge of Database Administration is preferred.
A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or comparable experience.
