The Banking & Insurance Group (BIG) is one of the most successful divisions within CARFAX,
serving the insurance, automotive finance, and credit union industries. We are in high-growth
mode as the use of vehicle history in these markets is increasing exponentially.
Responsibilities and Impact:
- Lead a Development Team toward being Self-Organizing and Self-Directed
- Execute Project & Individual Goals & Objectives that align with our Departmental &
- Corporate Game Plans
- Coach the team in applying Agile, Lean & Xtreme Programming methods.
- Work with your team to organize an approach and plan that will meet the expectations in
- the most efficient and effective manner possible
- Measure the results & lead continuous improvement activities
- Liaise with Stakeholders to provide Tech guidance and joint decision-making
What We’re Looking For:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science
- Experience in leading a team in a tech environment.
- Experience in software development with JVM programming languages, Spring, and React.
- Experience with AWS cloud services.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in microservices development and architecture.
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
