In Digital, we are delivering on our Digital Transformation, implementing new state-of-the-art solutions as well as innovating with RPA, IOT, big data, analytics, apps, and much more to bring ROCKWOOL to a new level of digitalization. Integration plays a major role in changing our system landscape, where applications mainly will be deployed in the cloud using a hybrid setup with Azure and global datacenters. Our integrations are based on our loosely coupled/multi-tool strategy and we are using Informatica, Dell Boomi and Kafka to achieve that.
This is the role
As the Integration Architect, you will be a trusted advisor for IT management, business management, and internal and external service providers. You will be part of the Enterprise Architecture team of ROCKWOOL and you will have a leading role in modernizing our IT integration landscape by creating strategies, roadmaps and blueprints that support our digital transformation.
Your primary tasks and areas of responsibility:
- Create and document integration blueprints and target architectures for digitalization projects by identifying organizational needs and requirements in close collaboration with Solution Architects and our integration team
- Engage in implementation projects to deliver the right quality of integration based on yours blueprints and architecture
- Create and maintain strategies, roadmaps and target architecture within the integration domain
- Support Solution Architects, our integration team and other stakeholders with integration architecture and technologies
- Engage with the stakeholders of ROCKWOOL Group and operational companies along with the Enterprise Architecture team to spread the word how the modernization of the integration landscape can support new opportunities of digitalization and innovation.
This is what you offer
The ideal candidate is expected to have a higher degree in IT, engineering or similar and at least 10 years experience in IT including at least 3 years of experience in the Integration Architect role. You have a proven track record in integration and SW platforms across multiple applications and platforms.
As an Architect, you:
- Have extensive experience of creating and documenting integration blueprints/designs for large enterprises in a complex, multi-platform distributed environment.
- Have strong business understanding and engagement skills
- Have strong communication and presentation skills and a personal impact that allows you to convince your stakeholders
- Are a proactive team-player with strong analytical skills and focus on providing visible business results
- Are fluent in English
Furthermore, you:
- Have extensive experience building highly scalable integration using service-oriented, microservice, and/or RESTful API based architectures at an enterprise scale using Dell Boomi, Informatica or SAP CPI
- Have experience working with SAP integrations (IDocs, MFS etc.)
- Have experience with messaging platforms, protocols, and techniques such as Kafka, and event sourcing
- Have experience with integration to cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud
- Have experience in EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) integration and strong knowledge of EDI Communication Channel (AS2, X400, etc) and message type (EDIFACT, X12, etc).
