You will join our 8-member Data Science & Engineering team, serving the ROCKWOOL Group with cutting-edge digital expertise. Together, we create smart, seamless experiences for colleagues, customers, stakeholders, and vendors worldwide. What you will be doing:
As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be the key person responsible for proposing and implementing cutting-edge solutions. You will design and enhance our robust data platform built on Snowflake, Databricks and Azure, leveraging dbt Cloud for transformations. Your expertise will be crucial in introducing new features, optimizing CI/CD pipelines, automating processes, and improving governance and monitoring.
What you bring:
At least 3 years of experience in data engineering;
English C1 proficiency;
Data architecture skills;
Data integration skills;
Ability to work in Scrum in Kanban using Jira;
Ability to gather requirements and work independently with business stakeholders;
Ability to propose solutions and solving them independently;
Experience working in international team.
Ans also good knowledge of the below technologies:
Must have:
SQL;
Python or other objective language (Java, C# etc.);
Relational databases;
CI/CD operations;
Git (preferred: GitHub), Gitops;
DBT;
Snowflake;
Databricks;
Spark;
Kafka;
Streaming.
Big advantage:
IaaC concepts;
Terraform;
Knowledge of SAP FI, SD, MM;
Jinja;
Data modeling skills (star, snowflake, vault, etc.);
Azure (focus on Azure functions, Azure Blob Storage);
PowerBI;
Streamlit;
Airflow;
Docker.
