Tech Lead / Solution Architect for Data Products (AWS/Snowflake)

Responsibilities:

• Lead the architecture and design of data products on the AWS platform, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
• Mentor a team of data engineers and scientists, fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives.
• Drive the technical roadmap for data product development on AWS, adhering to best practices.
• Oversee quality assurance processes, including code reviews and testing.
• Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.

We are looking for:

• Proven experience in technical leadership focused on data products and pipelines on the AWS platform.
• In-depth knowledge of AWS services such as Lambda, Fargate, EC2, S3, AWS Glue, Athena, Step Functions, Event Bridge, and SQS.
• Strong understanding of data architecture, modeling, and ETL processes in AWS and Snowflake environments.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across teams.
• Proficient in optimizing data pipelines for performance and troubleshooting data-related issues.
• Knowledge of SQL for querying data and experience in Python development.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools like GitLab CI/CD and AWS CDK; experience with Snowflake (warehouses, dbt, vault) is essential, with familiarity in Liquibase as a plus.
