Senior Java Developer (AWS)

We are looking for a Senior Back End Developer with high AWS skill!

A global registry prospectively capturing linked next-generation sequencing (NGS), treatment and outcome data from cancer patients diagnosed with a solid tumor, to address the evidence gaps that have resulted from rapid advancements in NGS technologies and the increasingly complex subtypes of cancers – most of which are rare/low prevalence. This complexity reduces healthcare providers' ability to 1) decide on which NGS test is appropriate for a patient, 2) decide on which treatment pathway is best for a patient, and 3) facilitate optimal long-term outcomes for a patient.

✨ As a Senior Backend Developer you will:

• be responsible for the complete technical solution, i.e. development, deployment and integration of all components
• Provides support and takes responsibility for removing obstacles/issues in project/product delivery
• Leads a team of developers to deliver required solutions in time and according to provided specifications
• Designs and supervises the implementation of Solution Architecture
• Supervises project/product technical documentation
• Enables auditability (regulatory compliance)
• Assists the product owner with the creation of the product backlog
• Handles project communication (project status reporting)
• Supports end users 
• Supports Test Lead and developers in designing and executing test scripts
• Performs code reviews
• Plans and Supervises application deployments. Responsible for managing product/application versions together with the Product owner
• Engages with vendors and third parties on application technical architecture and design including oversight of vendor application development quality

💻 We are looking for a specialist with the following skills:

• Strong knowledge of modern application architectures patterns (including serverless architecture)
• Knowledge and practical experience of DevOps standards
• Deep knowledge and practical experience in building AWS cloud data solutions and services
• Knowledge of Software Lifecycle Development process, Agile and Scrum techniques
• Commanding knowledge of business architecture and an understanding of business challenges
• Utilizing a wide range of technical areas with a thorough technical understanding that includes IT technology Standards, development standards and application technologies with specific expertise in architecture and high-level design and system development
• Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Strong leadership and organizational abilities

🎯 Required Expertise:

• Experience working with AWS Cloud services such as EC2, S3, IAM, Route53, RDS, VPC, LAMBDA, SQS, SNS, EKS, Load Balancers, CloudWatch, API Gateway, etc.
• Java, identity management, OAuth 2.0
• Experience with Web Services technologies (SOAP, REST), markup languages (HTML, XML, XSD, CSS) and data interchange formats (JSON)
• Broad understanding of API design tools (e.g. Swagger tools) and API Management platforms
• Docker, GitLab, Jenkins, K8s

Nice to have: Knowledge or experience in JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, Angular.
