Project Overview

You’ll join a fast-growing B2B SaaS scale-up that is transforming how modern FMCG brands capture, manage, and act on field sales data. As a Solution Engineer, you’ll work at the intersection of product, engineering, sales, and customer success: designing integrations, building PoCs, shaping data flows, and guiding customers through smooth, secure implementations. It’s a hands-on, high-impact role where your work directly influences how global consumer brands operate in the field.

Responsibilities

• Own the DevOps strategy, designing scalable cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and security-by-default practices.

• Standardise service provisioning and operations using Infrastructure as Code, environment parity, secrets management, and integrations with SaaS/PaaS tools.

• Lead reliability and incident response, including SLO definition, monitoring/alerting, on-call processes, and post-incident reviews.

• Improve engineering productivity by optimising build/test times, local environments, and providing self-service tooling.

• Manage IT operations and device management (UEM/MDM), access reviews, JML processes, and SaaS/SSO integrations.

• Ensure secure and compliant operations, including RBAC/SSO management, vulnerability handling, hardening standards, and ISO 27001-aligned controls and evidence.

• Stay up to date with cloud, DevOps, security, and AI trends; pilot and adopt tools that improve reliability, speed, security, or cost efficiency.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Software Engineering and  DevOps / Platform / SRE, with a strong hands-on approach to building and operating real systems.

• Solid coding and automation skills in at least two of: C#/.NET, TypeScript/Node.js, Python, plus scripting with Bash or PowerShell.

• Deep, practical experience with AWS (architecture, operations, cost-awareness), ideally backed by a certification; ability to integrate GCP where useful.

• Strong knowledge of GitHub Actions and building reliable multi-stage CI/CD pipelines.

• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), secrets management, and reproducible environment provisioning.

• Experience maintaining system health: monitoring, logging, tracing, alerting, defining sensible SLOs, and driving improvements through incident reviews.

• Strong understanding of security and compliance (Google Workspace IdP/SSO, RBAC, vuln/patch management, ISO 27001 aligned practices).

• Experience managing macOS/Windows device fleets, JML processes, SSO-based access, and clear internal documentation.

• Practical use of AI/LLMs for developer productivity or operational efficiency with attention to data privacy and cost.

• Continuous learning mindset, staying current with modern cloud, DevOps, security, and CNCF/OWASP/ISO standards.

• Fluency in Polish and an advanced level of English (B2/C1)

Nice to Have

• Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, ECS/EKS), frontend build/release tools (Vite, React/Vue), and API gateway patterns.

• Familiarity with security tooling (SAST/DAST/SCA, SBOM).

• Experience with GCP services and cross-cloud networking/identity.

• Basic FinOps knowledge (tagging, budgeting, cost dashboards).
