IT Product Manager Operations & Purchasing (k/m/x)
Your responsibilities
Product Discovery & Definition
Workflow Mapping: Map out the physical journey of second-hand items (intake, authentication, grading, photography, storage) to design digital counterparts in the ERP/WMS.
Requirement Gathering: Conduct regular "Gemba walks" (process observation) on the shop floor to identify bottlenecks in the current software.
Spec Writing: Translate operational needs into technical User Stories and Acceptance Criteria.
Shop Floor Implementation & QA
On-Site User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Personally validate new features on the warehouse floor before release to ensure they work in a high-speed environment.
Pilot Management: Oversee the rollout of new features to small groups of warehouse staff, gathering immediate qualitative feedback.
Training Documentation: Create simple, visual manuals or standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse staff regarding software usage.
Troubleshooting & Support
Incident Triage: Serve as the first point of escalation for software-related stops in production. Determine if an issue is user error, a data error, or a software bug.
Real-time Debugging: Assist developers by reproducing bugs directly on the production line environment to speed up hotfixes.
Report and Monitoring improvement: Create and improve reportings and monitoring in collaboration with our BI Team on our journey to operational intelligence.
Our requirements
To act as the primary link between the decentralized software engineering team and the location-based operational workforce (Purchasing, Production & Logistics). This role is responsible for translating complex warehouse workflows, production workflows and purchasing logics for second-hand items into functional software requirements. The objective is to maximize operational throughput, data accuracy, and user efficiency on the shop floor.
