ReSpo.Vision revolutionizes football with the help of AI. We employ bleeding-edge Machine Learning and Deep Learning models to extract extremely detailed players’ positional information. We then crunch this data and build predictive models helping clubs, bookmakers & media in player/team analytics, live tactical recommendations, and game events’ probability assessment.

About
In this role, you will be responsible for both the processes related to developing our system and the development of the system itself. As a senior software engineer, you will create and enforce good code workflow and coding practices, exemplifying them in your work and mentoring other team members to follow them.
On the development side, you will be responsible for designing proper abstractions for new and existing functionalities, testing and optimizing the existing code base (mostly in the data processing part), and working with the deployment team to push and maintain production-ready versions of the system.
We are open to ideas and give freedom in the taken approach and experimentation and expect that you will be able to work on the given tasks and deliver results with little supervision.
Full-time position. B2B contract is preferred. Work from the office. Equity (ESOP) available.
Responsibilities/Tasks
- Design, influence, and execute product strategy in a fast-paced environment
- Set direction and goals for the team on both strategic and tactical level
- Design and review architecture
- Establish project framework and development plan & process accounting for inherent R&D uncertainty
- Lead, manage and grow engineering/data science teams
- Create, maintain and enforce engineering and operational excellence
- Mentor other team members on design, coding, and problem solving
Requirements
- Experience developing and maintaining extensive code bases
- Experience designing and delivering end-user products and software
- Experience building, leading, and scaling engineering teams
- Proficiency with Python
- Proficiency with pandas and numpy
- Ability to mix technology and business needs
- Excellent communication skills
- Very good command of English (C1 level)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in DS-/ML-related projects and products
- Experience building real-time/low-latency systems
- Experience building scalable, fault-tolerant, distributed systems
