AI Engineer

We are seeking an innovative, motivated, and hungry AI Engineer to join our dynamic team at Caju AI, a fast-growing startup building cutting-edge solutions in Natural Language Processing and agentic RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines. This role offers the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art technologies, participate in challenging projects, and help shape the future of intelligent automation.

Location: Bratislava Development Office (hybrid work model).

Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize NLP / NER solutions for large-scale named entity extraction.

• Build and maintain chatbots for internal data analysis and knowledge retrieval.

• Design and implement semantic search and monitoring for specified entities.

• Architect, build, and deploy agentic RAG pipelines leveraging LangGraph and LangChain.

• Collaborate with team members to deliver high-impact AI solutions.

• Support other AI-related tasks, including hosting on AWS, Lambda API integrations, and more.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field.

• Proficiency in Python programming language.

• Hands-on experience designing and implementing agentic RAG pipelines (Retrieval-Augmented Generation).

• Strong working knowledge of LangGraph and LangChain frameworks for building advanced language and agentic applications.

• Experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.

• Experience with NLP frameworks like NLTK and spaCy.

• Familiarity with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques.

• Solid understanding of a broad range of machine learning algorithms, including supervised, unsupervised, reinforcement learning, and neural networks.

• Practical experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) tasks.

• Solid grasp of mathematical concepts relevant to AI, such as linear algebra, calculus, and statistics.

• Intermediate+ written and spoken English.

Optional / Bonus:

• Knowledge of Graph Databases (e.g., Neo4j, Amazon Neptune, etc.).

• Familiarity with ontologies and semantic web technologies.

• Knowledge of Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) methods.
