Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Carrying out manual and automated tests

• Working on automated test systems and automated test strategies

• Documenting test results and creating test reports

• Analyzing requirements, creating and reviewing test cases and test plans

• Monitoring compliance with quality standards in software development and metrics regarding software quality

• Analyzing and documenting errors

• Close cooperation with colleagues in testing and development

Qualifications

• Completed studies in computer science, business informatics or a comparable qualification

• +1 year of experience in the field of software testing and quality assurance

• Initial knowledge of programming language, like Java

• Basic knowledge of test methods and test tools as well as agile software development processes 

• Good technical understanding and strong analytical skills

• Experience with test management systems and a ticket management system (preferably Jira) - nice to have

• Knowledge of tools and technologies like Jira, Selenium, JMeter, Rest API testing etc. - nice to have

• Knowledge of microservices is a plus

• Confident communication in Polish and English (knowledge of German is an advantage)

• Openness to work in a hybrid model (1-2 times a week) from our office in Katowice
