Senior Java Developer (B2B)

Responsibilities

• You are working on a new project, starting in February 2025.
• You are a member of a team developing Java / Jakarta EE applications for a dedicated customer in the German financial industry.
• You are responsible for the product you build.
• You proactively bring in ideas to create solutions using the Java Tech Stack.
• You work in an Agile environment.
• You take responsibility in a self-organized Scrum team.
• You meet with your team in the office once a month to plan your work and discuss progress.

Qualifications

• Very good communication skills in English.
• Communication skills in German is a plus.
• Successful completion of higher education as a qualified IT specialist or university degree in computer science.
• At least 6 Years of experience with Java Tech Stack, ideally with a subset of the following technologies and frameworks: Java 11+, Rest, Spring Batch, JBoss Wildfly, Jenkins, Git, Maven, Hibernate, SQL.
• Experience with AWS services (such as AWS Secrets Manager, AWS Read Replica) is a plus.
• You understand agile methodologies.
• You are proactive, responsible, and you know how to work as a team.
