SAP Commerce Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Developing customer facing e-commerce solutions with SAP Commerce 
• Contributing to digital transformation in different industries and delivering high quality end-to-end e-commerce projects 
• Designing solutions in cooperation with assigned Architect or Tech Lead 
• Writing unit and integration tests to ensure code quality 
• Performing code reviews assuring high quality and security 
• Meeting with a team in the office (Katowice) at least once a month.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline 
• Very good knowledge of English and Polish
• 2-3 years of back-end development/software engineering, preferably in e-commerce domain 
• Hands-on experience in JAVA and Spring, understanding of RESTful APIs 
• Knowledge of SQL and RDBMs (MySQL, Oracle or SQL Server) 
• Experience with source control management tools (preferably Git) and experience in software testing and tools like: Junit, Spock, Mockito, Postman 
• Basic knowledge of front-end technologies (CSS, JavaScript, HTML)  
• Familiarity with CI/CD platforms (e.g., Jenkins, Git Actions) 
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in an international team, and paying attention to details 
• Being interested in new technologies and the ability to learn and apply new skills quickly 
• One year of SAP Commerce development experience and knowledge of Agile methodologies (SCRUM, Kanban) and tools (JIRA) - nice to have
