Salesforce Business Analyst & Engineer
As a Salesforce Business Analyst & Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping and driving OBI’s digital transformation. You will work hands-on within the Salesforce landscape of OBI Smart Technologies Poland, designing, implementing, and evolving Salesforce solutions that integrate seamlessly into OBI’s broader digital ecosystem.
In this role, you act as a strong bridge between business, Salesforce engineering, and non-Salesforce development teams. You combine the analytical mindset of a Business Analyst, the communication skills of a Product Owner, and the technical depth of a Salesforce Engineer / Solution Designer. Working closely with OBI’s business units in marketing, commerce, operations, and customer service, as well as with engineering teams outside the Salesforce ecosystem, you translate business needs into scalable, integrated solutions while keeping platform strategy and architectural coherence in mind.
Responsibilities
Analyze business processes and requirements and translate them into clear functional and technical Salesforce solutions.
Design and implement Salesforce functionality hands-on (configuration, automation, data models, integrations).
Act as a key interface between business stakeholders, Salesforce engineering, and non-Salesforce development teams.
Collaborate with external and internal development teams to design and implement end-to-end processes across system boundaries.
Contribute to integration design and alignment with surrounding systems (e.g. APIs, middleware, data platforms).
Ensure consistency and synergy across Salesforce modules (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Data Cloud, etc.).
Support backlog refinement, technical solution design, and implementation planning.
Communicate requirements, dependencies, and implementation progress transparently.
Collaborate closely with OBI’s business and IT departments to ensure alignment with overall technology and data strategies.
Contribute to best practices, architectural consistency, and continuous improvement across the Salesforce landscape.

Qualifications
Successfully completed university studies in computer science or a comparable field.
4+ years of hands-on experience in the Salesforce ecosystem (e.g. Salesforce Engineer, Senior Developer, Solution Architect, or Business Analyst with strong technical focus).
Proven experience implementing Salesforce solutions, including configuration, automation, and integrations.
Solid understanding of Salesforce architecture, data models, security concepts, and integration patterns.
Experience collaborating with non-Salesforce engineering teams in complex system landscapes.
Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset with a high degree of ownership and accountability.
Fluent in English and Polish (German language skills are an advantage).
Openness to work in a hybrid model and visit the Katowice office on a regular basis.
Willingness to travel occasionally to OBI headquarters and key business locations in Germany.
