QA Automation Test Engineer (Java/Selenium)

Responsibilities

• Developing Java automated scripts using Selenium library and Cucumber BDD
• Creating and executing regression tests across multiple environments as changes are promoted and staged for production
• Verifying the health of the website’s user journeys through the automated scripts. Manual validation of the failures and script update when necessary
• Raising accurate and detailed defects and issues for Customer review
• Being involved in the business activities and the decision making process in order to be aware of sudden changes that might impact the test results
• Collaborating within an agile team providing input for services backlog, sprint planning, story development and testing, demos, and team retrospective
• Building a trustful relationship with product owners, developers, analysts, operations and other team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or similar degree. 
• 1+ years of experience with Java application development and support or Automation framework development
• 1+ years of experience in Automation testing
• Good communicator, good soft skills to clearly align with the team and explain the day-to-day activities to other developers, QA teams and Client’s managers.
• Experience working in an agile development process
• Ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables
• Good understanding of enterprise infrastructure and application components (network, application and database servers, storage, computing, etc.)
• Working knowledge of source code repository tools using Git, Bitbucket, SourceTree, etc.
• Be comfortable and adaptive working in shifted hours
• Good communication skills in English
• Availability to work in a hybrid mode or remotely with at least 1 visit in the office per quarter
