QA Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Taking part in the development of automation test strategies and plans, including the selection of appropriate testing techniques and tools
• Working with the Agile team to create and execute test cases that ensure the functionality, performance, scalability, and security of our software
• Providing guidance and support to junior members of the team, helping them to grow and develop their skills
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of our testing processes and methodologies
• Assessing and communicating the risk associated with identified defects and issues
• Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software

Qualifications

• A university degree in Computer Science or related field and 3+ years of experience in software testing, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality software products
• Skills in test automation systems, with experience in selecting and implementing appropriate tools and frameworks
• Experience in designing and executing test cases across a variety of testing techniques (e.g. functional, performance, security). Experience working in Java/Groovy.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira
• Fluency in English is a must, as it is our everyday language
• Availability to work in a remote/hybrid mode. Remote employees we invite to the Katowice office once every month.
