Lead Java Developer (IoT)

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of Java-based applications for automotive systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Oversee code quality and adherence to best practices through code reviews and mentoring team members.
• Implement and manage microservices architecture, ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in production and non-production environments.
• Visit the Katowice office from time to time to collaborate with the team and customer in person.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in Java development including frameworks like JavaEE and Springboot.
• Strong expertise in AWS services and solutions, with hands-on experience in Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with streaming services and real-time data processing, particularly Kafka.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and CI/CD pipelines.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Fluent communication in English.
