Junior/ Mid Test Automation

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automated tests to ensure the quality of applications based on microservices architectures, including multichannel solutions, responsive web applications, mobile applications, and complex backend systems. 
• Integrate testing into the development process, contributing to the definition of best practices for development and code quality (code reviews, DevOps, CI/CD). 
• Write and execute automated functional, regression, integration, and performance tests, ensuring coverage of both functional and non-functional requirements. 
• Optimize and improve testing processes, identifying critical scenarios to automate in order to increase efficiency and reduce release times. 
• Collaborate with developers and QA teams to ensure that quality is an integral part of development rather than a separate activity. 
• Share knowledge and best practices, supporting the team in fostering a strong culture of software quality.

Qualifications

• Successfully completed university studies (Bachelor's or Master's degree) in computer science, engineering, mathematics or comparable courses.
• Good knowledge of testing process and of Java and testing framework like Selenium, Appium, and use of locators/xpaths. Knowledge of JavaScript, PlayWright or Cypress would be an additional advantage
• Experience in Agile development environments and practices (Jira, Confluence would be preferred)
• Ability to interact and work effectively in a remote team environment directly with testers, developers and stakeholders, contributing to software quality from the early stages of development
• Very good communication skills in English.
• ISTQB Certification would be a good addition.
