Jira/ Confluence Administrator with Automation Skills

Responsibilities

• Administration and configuration Jira and Confluence platforms, ensuring smooth operations and high availability.
• Implement and manage Jira workflows, permission schemes, notification schemes, and custom fields based on user requirements.
• Automate Jira tasks and processes using scripting languages like Python and Jira Automation for Jira (A4J).
• Design and deploy custom Jira dashboards, Confluence spaces, and integration with other tools such as Slack, Bitbucket, or GitHub.
• Collaborate with teams to enhance Agile project management processes through optimized Jira configuration and automation.
• Manage Jira/Confluence user permissions, project configurations, and integrations to ensure data integrity and secure access.
• Automate Jira administration tasks such as issue transitions, reporting, and notifications using Python scripts and Jira API.
• Provide technical support and training to users, ensuring they can fully utilize the features and automation capabilities of Jira/Confluence.
• Perform regular system upgrades and performance tuning to maintain the health and security of Jira/Confluence environments.

Qualifications

• We are looking forward to your successfully completed university studies in (business) informatics, mathematics, physics or similar
• 1-3 years in a DevOps or automation role, preferably within the automotive industry, hands-on experience in managing backup and recovery processes.
• Expertise in configuring and managing Jira Core, Jira Software, and Jira Service Management.
• Advanced knowledge of Confluence, including space management, page templates, and content organization.
• Proficiency in Jira Automation for Jira (A4J), Python scripting, and Jira API for process automation.
• Knowledge of scripting & programming languages: Python (for Jira task automation), JavaScript (for custom fields and issue forms), and knowledge of Groovy for Jira ScriptRunner.
• Understanding of Jira Data structure and ability to run JQL queries for advanced data reporting and troubleshooting and experience managing Jira Cloud installations.
• Very good communication skills in English complete your profile
• you are open to work in a hybrid mode, with 2-3 days at our office in Katowice
