Data Engineer

Responsibilities

As a Data Engineer, you will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures that support data processing and analytics across the organization. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, analysts, and engineering teams to deliver reliable and efficient data solutions.

• Design, build, and maintain robust ETL pipelines and data workflows.

• Develop and optimize data processing solutions using Python.

• Ensure data quality, consistency, and availability across multiple data sources.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and translate data requirements into technical solutions.

• Work with cloud-based data platforms (preferably Azure).

• Support data platform development and continuous improvement.

• Document data processes and follow best practices in data engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field

• 3+ years of professional experience as a Data Engineer

• Strong experience with Python and data processing

• Hands-on experience with ETL pipelines and workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow)

• Experience with data processing frameworks such as Spark or Databricks

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (preferably Azure) and exposure to DevOps practices

• Strong SQL skills and experience working with databases

• Fluent communication skills in English and Polish

• Openness to hybrid work and regular visits to the Katowice office (once per month)
