Data Scientist

Responsibilities

As a Data Scientist, you will design and build advanced analytics and machine learning solutions that transform data into actionable predictions and recommendations. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, engineering, and platform teams to deploy and scale models effectively.

• Explore and analyze large datasets. 

• Perform feature engineering and model development. 

• Train, validate, and evaluate machine learning models. 

• Collaborate with engineers on model deployment. 

• Document and present analytical results. 

Qualifications

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field.

• 4+ years of professional experience as a Data Scientist.

• Strong skills in Python (pandas, scikit-learn, etc.), with experience working in data processing frameworks such as Spark and Databricks.

• Experience building and maintaining ETL pipelines, including workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow).

• Experience with SQL and cloud-based data platforms, preferably in Azure environments.

• Fluent communication skills in English and Polish.

• Openness to hybrid work and regular visits in Katowice office, once per month.

Nice to have:

• Experience with geospatial data.
