Data & AI Consultant

Responsibilities

• Client Engagement & Advisory.  Advise clients from mid-sized companies to large enterprises on their Data & AI transformation journey, working with stakeholders up to C-level to identify opportunities and translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.

• Solution Design & Implementation.  Capture business requirements and translate them into comprehensive Data & AI strategies and initiatives, from initial vision and pilots to scalable solutions and operating models. Take on project management responsibilities including requirements engineering and process optimization.

• Innovation & Knowledge Leadership.  Drive expertise in emerging topics like GenAI, Data & AI Governance, and EU AI Act while contributing to the team's knowledge base and evolution of our Data & AI Advisory portfolio.

• Teamwork & Communication. Collaborate in cross-functional teams while presenting strategies and recommendations to senior stakeholders, taking on increasing responsibility based on experience level from task coordination to program leadership.

Qualifications

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS, Engineering, IT, or a related discipline with a technical or business focus.

• Excellent Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.

• Strong analytical and conceptual skills: Ability to derive insights and advise on data-driven business models, governance processes, and innovative Data & AI technologies.

• Ability to understand how Data & AI support business objectives: Interest in Data & AI strategy, use case discovery, governance, and digital transformation.

• Very good knowledge of English and Polish.

• Availability to work in a hybrid mode with at least 2 visits to the office in Katowice per month.

• For senior-level positions: Several years of relevant consulting or project experience in areas such as Data & AI, data platforms, analytics, IT strategy, data governance, or digital transformation.

• For senior-level positions: Proven track record in developing and implementing data and AI  strategies, including governance, operating models, or transformation programs.

• Nice to have: Experience in client-facing or consulting environments and familiarity with agile methodologies and project/program management practices (e.g., Scrum, SAFe, PMI, PRINCE2), or data visualization and storytelling techniques.

• Nice to have: Familiarity with emerging topics such as Generative AI and Data Governance with motivation to deepen expertise.

• Nice to have: Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), programming languages (Python, Java, Scala), or BI tools.
