Business Central Consultant (Finance)

Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Consultant with a strong focus on Finance. In this temporary role, you will support our team in analyzing, designing, and implementing finance-related processes within Business Central. You will work closely with business stakeholders, ensure high-quality solution delivery, and contribute to a smooth transition into operations. 

• Lead and support Finance process design and configuration in Business Central. 

• Conduct Fit/Gap analyses, translate business needs into functional designs. 

• Configure finance modules (GL, AP/AR, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Bank Reconciliation). 

• Manage testing phases (SIT, UAT) and support Cutover and GoLive activities. 

• Coordinate data migration (master data, opening balances, transactional data). 

• Deliver stakeholder workshops and key user training. 

• Create functional documentation and ensure handover to internal teams. 

Qualifications

• Completed studies in computer science, business informatics or a comparable qualification.

• Minimum 4 years of experience with Business Central (or NAV). 

• Strong Finance domain knowledge and experience in implementation projects. 

• Proven expertise in BC configuration, functional design, and testing. 

• Experience with data migration and integrations. 

• Excellent communication and analytical skills. 

• Ability to work independently in a dynamic project environment. 

• Very good communication in English, Polish and German. 

• Open to working in a hybrid mode, with 1 day per month at our office in Katowice.

Nice to Have 

• Experience with multi-entity or international finance scenarios. 

• Familiarity with Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate). 

• Basic understanding of AL development for developer coordination.
