Azure DevOps Engineer (Azure | Kafka | Terraform) (B2B)

Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer who wants to work on modern cloud-native platforms and large-scale distributed systems in an international environment.

You will be responsible for designing, automating, and operating cloud infrastructure and deployment processes, working closely with developers, architects, and platform teams to ensure reliable and scalable delivery.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to support automated and efficient delivery processes.

• Manage, optimize, and secure Azure cloud environments, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance.

• Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot Apache Kafka clusters within distributed system landscapes.

• Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform for scalable and repeatable environments.

• Support development teams in integrating Java-based applications into automated deployment workflows.

• Drive automation of operational processes and continuously improve deployment efficiency across the platform.

• Ensure compliance with security standards, best practices, and internal governance policies.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an international environment and participate in incident management and on-call support.
  

Qualifications

• Completed university degree in Computer Science or a comparable technical field.

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Platform Engineering roles.

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and core cloud services (AKS, networking, storage, identity).

• Experience with GitHub and CI/CD pipelines, especially GitHub Actions.

• Proven experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.

• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka including configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.

• Good understanding of microservices architectures and distributed systems.

• Fluent communication skills in English and Polish
   

Nice to have:

• Experience with Apache Flink and stream processing technologies.

• Knowledge of Azure Data Explorer (ADX) and advanced KQL.

• Experience with Redis, Azure Sentinel, or SIEM solutions.

• Familiarity with NIST-800 or similar security frameworks.

• Experience with observability tools such as OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, or Azure Monitor.
