Tech Lead Python Developer

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced cloud systems engineer who can design strong and scalable systems and also build important parts of them directly. In this job, you will use your system design skills and Python knowledge to help build systems for our AI products. These products are already used by big organizations in football, like FIFA.

About Us

We are changing the world of sports using AI and computer vision. Our special technology can collect high-quality player tracking data from normal TV footage - no special hardware or wearables are needed. Big names like FIFA, CONMEBOL, Chelsea, and PSG already use our tech. We are now working on real-time features to improve live broadcasts and fan interaction.

Your Tasks

• Design and build cloud systems that support our full product range

• Write code in Python to build important parts of the system

• Create a production setup that runs our computer vision models smoothly and reliably

• Turn product ideas into real systems and manage projects from start to finish

• Lead technical decisions and use best practices in cloud system design

What You Need

• Strong system design skills and experience building scalable systems

• Expert Python skills for backend and cloud work

• Solid experience working with large systems in cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure

• Deep knowledge of distributed systems and containers (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Experience with infrastructure as code and modern DevOps methods

Extra Skills (Nice to Have)

• Experience working with ML models in production (like model serving or inference optimization)

• Experience with fast or real-time data systems

• Knowledge of video processing or streaming technology

• Background in sports technology

• Contributions to open-source infrastructure projects
