Senior Software Engineer Fullstack JavaScript

Please note - this is a hybrid role, with 3 days per week working from our office in Warsaw.

Responsibilities and Duties

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer with strong skills in React and Node.js to join our team. The right person will have more than 5 years of experience building fast and reliable web applications. You will work on both front-end and back-end tasks and take part in all stages of software development.

Key Responsibilities

• Front-End Development: Build and maintain interactive and responsive user interfaces using React.js, Redux, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).

• Back-End Development: Create scalable server-side applications and APIs using Node.js and Express.

• Integration: Work with database engineers to design databases and manage data using MongoDB or SQL databases.

• Application Architecture: Design scalable systems and microservices that meet business needs.

• Testing & Debugging: Write tests, fix bugs, and improve application performance.

• Deployment: Handle deployments and updates using CI/CD pipelines and tools like Docker.

• Collaboration: Work closely with designers, product managers, and developers to deliver user-focused solutions.

• Maintenance: Monitor application performance, solve issues, and make improvements.

• Documentation: Create and update technical documentation for applications, APIs, and system design.

Requirements

Front-End:

• Strong experience with React.js, Redux, React Hooks, and component-based design.

• Good knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).

• Experience with tools such as Webpack, Babel, or Vite.

Back-End:

• Strong skills in Node.js and Express.js.

• Experience building and using APIs, including REST (GraphQL is a plus).

• Knowledge of authentication methods like OAuth, JWT, and session-based login.

Database:

• Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.

Additional Skills:

• Experience with Docker; Kubernetes is a plus.

• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Good knowledge of Git and version control.

• Understanding of Agile or Scrum methods.

Qualifications

• More than 5 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer using React and Node.js.

• Experience deploying and supporting applications in production.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar field is preferred.
