about the role:
You’ll be joining a 8-person, venture-backed, high-energy, entrepreneurial team that is deeply focused on building scalable backend infrastructure to power our platform. You will work closely with the team to design, develop, and maintain core backend services, ensuring they are robust, secure, and capable of scaling as we grow. With your extensive experience in AWS, SQL, and database management across platforms like BigQuery, Snowflake, ClickHouse, and Postgres, you’ll play a critical role in managing and optimizing data pipelines and integrations. In addition to your backend skills, proficiency in TypeScript will be key for ensuring a consistent, maintainable codebase. You will also be helping build out the front end.

core requirements.
- 5+ years of backend development experience, with significant experience in startups or fast-paced environments.
- Strong expertise in AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.) for managing and deploying scalable backend services.
- Deep experience with SQL and working with large datasets across BigQuery, Snowflake, ClickHouse, and PostgreSQL.
- Proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js and Neo4j for back-end development.
- Proficiency in HTML, HTMX, custom JSX-like render functions (no React) for front-end development
- Experience building APIs, data pipelines, and ensuring seamless integration with frontend applications.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on performance, scalability, and security.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities in a startup environment.
