About the Role

Our backend is built in Python and runs in the cloud on Kubernetes. It is not a normal backend with just a web UI - it handles audio in real time and connects with many third-party services. Because of the speed and challenges of startup life, each team member has big chances to grow and take ownership.

In this role, you will:

• Design and build flexible conversation pipelines for order-taking.

• Work with ML engineers to bring Generative AI pipelines into production.

• Investigate and fix AI performance issues in production.

• Debug complex conversational flows.

• Maintain data analysis pipelines and tools.

• Build and support test infrastructure to keep AI systems stable and accurate.

Qualifications

• BSc in Software Development or similar experience.

• 5+ years working with Python.

• Strong backend and architecture skills.

• Experience deploying multiple production projects.

• Knowledge of CI/CD, cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure), Linux, Docker, Kubernetes.

• Experience with data pipelines and ETL.

• Startup work experience.

• 2+ years as a tech lead or team lead.

Bonus Skills

• Experience with conversational AI.

• Knowledge of concurrency.

• Experience with React.
