React Native Developer (Remote – EST overlap required)

Note: We require a 5-hour overlap with the EST timezone — this means availability until 19:00 Polish time.

Your Impact

We're is expanding! After building a privacy-first web app loved by 20,000+ members, achieving profitability, and successfully launching on iOS, our next milestone is bringing our app to Android using React Native. We're looking for a skilled React Native developer to help us ship a high-impact cross-platform beta that meets the bar set by our iOS experience.

What You’ll Do

• Project Setup & Architecture: Set up the React Native project from scratch, structure code using best practices (e.g., modular architecture, hooks, context, etc.).
• Core Implementation: Build key app functionality including secure data storage, a robust networking layer (integrating with our Django-based backend), and reusable UI components.
• Performance & Security: Optimize runtime performance, minimize bundle size, and implement secure storage and data handling across platforms.
• Team Collaboration: Participate in code reviews, contribute to architectural decisions, and help document scalable, clean development practices.

What You Bring

• Minimum 3 years of experience building mobile apps with React Native
• Experience launching 3+ React Native apps into production with a strong grasp of TypeScript, state management (e.g. Redux/Zustand), secure storage solutions, and mobile performance tuning.
• Background working in fast-moving startup environments and familiarity with cross-platform app challenges.
• Bonus: Experience porting from native iOS/Android or building privacy/security-focused apps.
