Middle Software Engineer (.Net) + Angular

Please note it's now remote role but later turns into hybrid - so only candidates from Warsaw and surroundings are required.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Design flexible and maintainable parts of our high-quality fintech software

• Write clean and scalable code using .NET programming languages

• Create automated tests for new code

• Maintain and fix .NET applications

• Review, update, improve, and debug code

• Make existing software better and more efficient

• Write documentation for APIs and systems

• Keep track of system performance and provide technical support

• Follow best development standards and practices

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience working as a software engineer

• Strong knowledge of MS Entity Framework

• Skilled in C#, ASP.NET, .NET MVC, and web APIs

• Experience in designing SQL Server schemas, stored procedures, and tables

• Familiar with MVC (Model-View-Controller) architecture

• Knowledge of how ASP.NET Core applications work

• Experience with automated testing tools like NUnit, xUnit, or MSTest

• Comfortable using .NET Core tools and frameworks

• Understand secure coding practices (OWASP, avoiding privilege issues)

• Familiar with Azure tools (App Service, Service Bus, SQL, Monitor, etc.)

• Experience with API styles such as REST and RPC

• Able to set up alerts for APIs in case of errors

• Knowledge of Agile work methods

• Experience using Git for version control

• Degree in Computer Science or a related field

• Familiar with JavaScript and HTML

• Excellent communication skills

• Able to think critically and creatively

• Good at solving problems in a logical and organized way

• Enjoy working as part of a team

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with single-page application (SPA) frameworks like React, Vue, or Angular

• Background in the fintech industry
