Google Cloud Platform Engineer

About the job:

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to help us move to Google Cloud and set up GitLab as our main CI/CD system. You will work in a small platform team to automate infrastructure, improve security, and support developers.

Your tasks:

• Build and manage cloud systems in Google Cloud using Terraform
• Automate setup with Ansible
• Work with Kubernetes, Istio, and Fluentd
• Move code and pipelines from Bitbucket/Bamboo to GitLab
• Create and improve CI/CD pipelines with Docker and ArgoCD
• Help with access controls, IAM, and security rules
• Give advice and training to internal teams

What you need:

• 3+ years in DevOps or cloud infrastructure
• Strong knowledge of GCP and Terraform
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes
• Good understanding of CI/CD and cloud security
• English – B1/B2 level for communication

Nice to have:

• Experience with Istio, Fluentd, ISO27001 or SOC 2
• Experience in international teams
• Willingness to teach or guide other teams
