Security Engineering Manager
The Security Engineering Manager leads a team of engineers to apply security engineering best practices and principles to create and implement a high quality, maintainable, reusable, reliable and scalable infrastructure and code on schedule. This position serves as a technical liaison between the team and other internal and external development teams to identify, improve and apply systems engineering best practices and processes to identify and mitigate risks with respect to the on-time delivery of infrastructure and software.
Specifically, this role is for the Security Identity and Access Management (IAM) team. The Security IAM team builds and maintains tools to govern IAM in both our corporate and cloud product environments. The IAM team is global, with members in both Poland and the United States.

- Provide architecture, design, implementation and operational management of security software components by leveraging security and cloud experience.
- Maximize automation and “infrastructure as code” concepts to ensure that components are standardized for deployment, change, and ongoing operations.
- Lead the improvement, automation, set-up, testing and operability of the Identity and Access Management tools and processes.
- Manage and enforce critical standards.
- Set and communicate team goals and vision aligned to business requirements.

- Specify non-functional infrastructure, software and operations requirements and analyze them to determine feasibility within time and cost constraints.
- Estimate development guidelines and manage timelines through risk management and through changing requirements.
- Provide input and design cloud-based system architecture to improve agile software development processes and practices.
- Ensure the adoption and application of development tools (e.g., IDEs, test frameworks, static analyzers, etc.) to improve engineering efficiency, maximize resources and reduce expense.
- Produce project readiness artifacts and estimates for upcoming features.
- Identify and reduce technical debt.
- 2 years of experience supporting and maintaining environments that host commercial-grade systems and applications.
- Experience in software development and demonstrates internalization of OO principles, like SOLID.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize based on company and team objectives.
- Knowledge of Agile development methodology.
- Strong teamwork and partnering skills for cross-group collaboration.
- Experience working in a SaaS environment operating on a global scale, preferably Azure.
- Knowledge of security fundamentals such as malware, entity behavioral analytics, Identity and Access Management, Firewalls, OWASP top 10 threats and monitoring/logging systems.
- Experience developing in configuration management and cloud-based platforms.
- Experience managing IAM tools like Okta, Delinea Secret Server, or Microsoft.
