🧠 About the Role
We’re looking for a Quant / Data Engineer who will take ownership of our data quality and analytics processes, driving the accuracy and performance of our oracle infrastructure. You’ll work with time-series and blockchain data, build robust validation pipelines, and design data aggregation methodologies powering RedStone’s core services. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of blockchain and data engineering, with real impact on product development and innovation.
💼 Responsibilities
Ensure data quality, reliability, and consistency across all services and environments
Build and optimize pricing data aggregation methodology for various asset classes
Design data validation and anomaly detection pipelines
Monitor public blockchain sources and extract meaningful on-chain insights
Research, analyze, and interpret complex multi-layered datasets
Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Sales to communicate insights and methodology
Propose and prototype new data-driven products in the blockchain and DeFi space
✅ You’ll bring
2–3+ years of experience in data engineering, quant research, analytics, or a related field
Strong SQL and experience with time-series databases (e.g. InfluxDB)
Solid scripting/coding skills (Python, TypeScript, or similar)
A strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
Experience working with complex, high-volume datasets
Initiative and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
Passion for solving open-ended and technical data problems
🌟 Bonus points for
Experience with crypto exchange data, asset pricing models, and market microstructure
Familiarity with DeFi mechanics (AMMs, order books, slippage, etc.)
Knowledge of blockchain protocols and how to extract and process on-chain data
Professional experience with TypeScript / Node.js
Hands-on experience in building data validation or reconciliation tools
Passion for blockchain tech and decentralization
