QA Automation Engineer (Data Platform | Python | AWS)

As a QA Automation Engineer, you will help us deliver high-quality cloud-based data solutions. You’ll work closely with developers, data engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure reliability, quality, and scalability of products built on AWS serverless architecture.

We are looking for an engineer with solid automation experience who is interested in cloud and data-oriented environments.

Your responsibilities

• Designing, developing, and maintaining automated tests using Python

• Validating data processing workflows and data quality across AWS-based solutions

• Testing APIs and integrations between system components

• Performing exploratory and functional testing when needed

• Working with applications built on AWS serverless architecture

• Investigating, documenting, and reporting defects

• Collaborating closely with developers, data engineers, and business stakeholders

• Contributing to QA best practices and promoting a quality-first mindset within the team

Our requirements

• 4+ years of experience in software testing

• At least 2 years of experience in test automation

• Good knowledge of Python and pytest

• Experience with automation frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, or similar

• Experience testing cloud-based solutions, preferably AWS

• Experience working with data-intensive applications, data platforms, ETL pipelines, reporting, analytics, or data validation processes

• Practical experience with API testing (REST)

• Understanding of Agile software development practices

• Strong communication skills and proactive approach

• Polish (C1+) and English (B2+)

Nice to have

• Experience testing AWS serverless solutions (Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge, S3, etc.)

• Familiarity with SQL and data validation techniques

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines

• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code concepts

• Experience with performance or security testing

• ISTQB certification
