About the Project

We are looking for a Data Engineer to join the team responsible for the core data layer of our central system. At the foundation of our work lies a PostgreSQL database, which powers the organization’s main application. Our goal is to ensure that data is consistent, reliable, and efficiently processed — delivering both high performance and high-quality information. This role gives you the opportunity to work directly with the data that forms the heart of the organization and to contribute to shaping a critical part of the system’s architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design, write, and optimize SQL queries for efficient data retrieval and storage

• Develop Python-based data processing components and user-facing outputs

• Ensure data consistency, accessibility, and performance across the system

• Write and maintain automated tests in Python

• Collaborate with other engineers to continuously improve system quality and reliability

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of SQL and practical experience working with relational databases and PostgreSQL knowledge

• Proficiency in Python for data processing and automation

• Methodical and analytical approach — ability to fully understand problems before drawing conclusions

• Motivation to grow and continuously learn

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team, bringing positive energy and collaboration

Nice to Have

• Experience with performance tuning and large-scale datasets

• Familiarity with database design and data modeling principles

• Knowledge of testing frameworks in Python
