Expert DevOps Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our high-performing, startup-like team within a larger corporate structure. The team is driving a major cloud transformation, migrating critical systems to AWS and building advanced workflow automation with Temporal. This role focuses on supporting a Go-based project for order management that is already in an advanced stage of development.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Temporal Cloud (control plane) and workers hosted on EKS clusters.

• Build and support infrastructure automation with Terraform.

• Ensure secure and reliable secret management with AWS Secrets Manager and Kubernetes External Secrets Operator.

• Contribute to workflow automation projects, collaborating closely with developers and AWS engineers.

• Assist in designing disaster recovery solutions across AWS regions.

• Implement observability and monitoring solutions to ensure system reliability and performance.

• Temporal Cloud, Kubernetes (EKS)

• AWS (primary region + DR region in progress)

• Terraform (HashiCorp)

Ideal Candidate Qualifications

• Strong experience with AWS and Kubernetes (EKS preferred).

• Proven hands-on experience with Terraform.

• Knowledge of workflow orchestration tools (Temporal is a big plus).

• Familiarity with monitoring and observability best practices.

• Experience supporting developers (Go/Java) in large-scale distributed systems.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work in an agile, remote-first team.
