DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a senior DevOps professional with strong experience in CI/CD and API governance - not a pure application developer. This role focuses on hands-on automation, enforcing standards, and enabling engineering teams to deliver high‑quality APIs.

You should be comfortable owning initiatives end‑to‑end, influencing engineering practices, and mentoring teams on API quality and design standards.This position is ideal for someone who wants to drive meaningful change in how APIs are designed, validated, and delivered across a large organization. You will have the opportunity to build governance frameworks, influence engineering culture, and create automation that raises the quality bar for every team.

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in API development

• Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD automation, including:

  • GitHub Actions

  • Jenkins

• Solid understanding of API governance, including:

  • OpenAPI/Swagger (OAS)

  • Linting and validation tools (e.g., Spectral)

• Proven senior-level impact: ownership, cross-team collaboration, and mentoring

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain Jenkins and GitHub Actions pipelines enforcing API standards

• Lead API governance initiatives, including linting, design-time validation, and standards enforcement

• Support product and implementation teams in adopting and complying with corporate API quality standards

• Improve developer experience around API design and delivery

Nice to have

• Practical experience with Spectral for OpenAPI validation

• Experience with LLM development (Azure AI Foundry, LangChain)

• Familiarity with Java/Spring Boot to support backend teams

• Experience with JavaScript/React for building internal dashboards or governance tooling
