Hi! ✌ We are Railwaymen - software house from Kraków What do we do? We are building functional, well-designed and fully-tested web/mobile apps and do product design. What’s more? We research, consult, and do workshops for our international clients. Being recognized as Global Leaders and Top Ruby on Rails Developers by Clutch made us proud. 👉 We are not slowing down, we take up new projects all the time, that’s why we’re looking for UX/UI Designer to join our awesome team.
Challenge yourself:
- be part of a team, have an influence on the work and processes
- work with software design teams to implement products and services used by millions of customers (!)
- design websites & mobile apps
- prepare and modernize the website from the visual side
- spread your wings while designing low and high-level prototypes and modern interfaces
- be part of the entire project development process - from the discovery phase to delivery
- be engaged in our product called Discovery Phase (workshops organizing & conducting, customized product analyzing, process flow preparation)
- acquiring and extending a deep and complex knowledge of the DP product and involvement in improving its quality and streamlining the workshops process
Design stack:
(must) Figma or Adobe Xd, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Miro or similar
(big plus) Bootstrap or Semantic UI, Adobe InDesign, UXPin, UML
Must have:
- min. 2 years of commercial experience in creating interactive projects
- experience in designing wireframes, mockups for websites and/or mobile apps
- very good knowledge of RWD approach (Responsive Web Design)
- excellent visual design skills
- experience in working with a design system
- knowledge of human-centered design
- experience in designing website information architecture
- knowledge of design programs such as Figma (or Adobe Xd, or UXPin), Creative Suite (mostly Photoshop and Illustrator) and Miro (or similar online whiteboard software)
- knowledge of English sufficient to read the documentation (min B2 level)
- a desire for self-development
- teamwork skills
- focus on task completion
- familiarity with agile working methodologies

Good to have:
- knowledge of workshops methods, experience in conceptual work with the client (DP)
- experience in prototyping and prototype testing
- knowledge of one of the frameworks: Bootstrap, Semantic UI
- basic knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML
- knowledge of Adobe InDesign
