Data Scientist

 

As a People Data Scientist, you will work with a team of HR professionals, business leaders, and data experts to leverage data and insights to drive strategic decisions and actions that enhance our team member experience, performance, and engagement. You will design, conduct, and communicate advanced data analysis projects that address key people-related questions and challenges, such as talent acquisition, retention, diversity, equity, and inclusion, learning and development, and organizational effectiveness.


Responsibilities: 

Identify, collect, and integrate data from various sources, such as surveys, HR systems, Operational and Financial metrics, and external benchmarks.

 

Apply appropriate statistical and machine learning techniques to analyze and interpret data, such as descriptive statistics, hypothesis testing, regression, classification, clustering, ONA, modeling, and natural language processing, that generate actionable insights for the business.

 

Partners with the Workforce Analytics Lead in the design and delivery of advanced visualization techniques. Helps convert data and insights into impactful visual representations and stories to help our clients make better, data-driven decisions.

 

Stays updated on the latest trends and developments in people analytics, AI and data science, and implements best practices and standards for data quality, security and ethics.

 

Critical Skills and Knowledge:

 

• Strong applied mathematical, statistical, and analytical skills, specifically statistical and machine learning methods and their applications

• Exceptional innovative and conceptual thinking skills to analyze complex problems and propose solution, often involving both technical and operational constraints

• Proficient in using data analysis tools and programming languages, such as R, Python, SQL, SPSS

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written. Ability to understand and communicate complex information

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

• Role- Related Experience: Experience in HR/People analytics required

• Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field, such as statistics, mathematics, computer science, or psychology; Master’s degree preferred

• Role-specific Education or Certificates: Certificate in Data Science or Analytics preferred
