UX/UI Designer

Accommodation Sourcing is a global team within TUI technology responsible for connecting hoteliers or other technology providers to TUI in order to sell accommodations. You use your distinctive talent for optimally reconciling user, business and tech requirements in your daily collaboration with product owners, IT and stakeholders. You’ll have a excellent understanding of User Experience Design and a strong background in responsive web design. With your creativity you will find elegant solutions for complex tasks. You take an active part in all phases of the UX process, starting with the requirements analysis, conception and prototype development to the specification and evaluation of the solutions found.

What you'll do

• Conduct user research to gain insights into user needs and preferences
• Create personas based on user research to identify and group user needs and desires
• Develop wireframes and visual mockups to communicate design concepts and solutions
• Collaborate with other team members, including developers, to contribute to the pattern library and maintain design consistency
• Identify optimization opportunities through user testing and usability research
• Collaborate with the Tech Lead and Product Owner to develop a roadmap for implementing optimization strategies
• Work independently and collaboratively with team members on a daily basis, depending on project requirements
• Adhere to security best practices and incorporate secure behaviors into all design and development activities
• Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in UX/UI design to continuously improve skills and knowledge

What we're looking for

• Experience in Interface Design
• Good understanding and usage of tools to improve usability, user experience, user behavior and user interaction
• Availability to convince others of your own ideas
• Knowledge about A/B- and usability tests, focus groups
• Ability to design, build, test, and deploy applications
• Customer-centric, passionate about delivering great digital products and services
• Demonstrating true software craftsmanship mindset
• Passionate about continuous improvement, collaboration and great teams
• Strong problem-solving skills coupled with good communication skills
• Good level of written and spoken English
